Obituary of Shanks Shannon

SHANNON, Jean Shanks January 21, 1922 - December 25, 2013 Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto after a 4-month struggle with numerous health problems. Predeceased by her husband Walter and her long-time companion Frank Yewman, as well as her sister Edith (George) Graham and her parents Joan and Richard Christie. Jean leaves her only daughter Jo-Anne and her husband Jim, her two granddaughters Jeanne (Scott) McMullen and their children Christie and Daniel and Laura (Tom) Lum and their daughter Rachel. She loved them all very much. She also leaves a niece Gene Graham and nephews Richard Graham, Paul Graham and Brian Shannon and their families, as well as many friends and neighbours. Special thanks to the staff at Providence Health Care and Sunnybrook Hospital for the care she received during her last months. Cremation has taken place.
