Dear Bruce and family, I am so so sorry to hear about Beth passing. No matter what I do at work I always think of her. She was a true inspiration and such a kind warm woman. I know she would love to hear about the new teaching opportunities at the university, and the ones for research as well. She was actually ahead of her time in many areas and therapy techniques which are now becoming more widely known and used. Our thoughts are with you. Joan Vertes and family

Dear Mr. McDougall, you don't know me, but your daughter Janice is a friend of mine. Janice is an amazing woman and after reading about Mrs. McDougall, I can see that Janice has 'amazing' in her genes. I hold you all gently in my thoughts and prayers.

Beth and Bruce, and David and I have been close friends over the years. Beth and I started our first jobs together at Thistletown Hospital, followed by our marriages in the next year, nearly 60 years ago.
