Obituary of Thomas Crocker

CROCKER, Thomas "Doug" Born October 25, 1922 in Toronto, Doug passed away peacefully on November 1, 2008 at the age of 86. Served in the Canadian Navy (CPO) and retired employee of 38 years with General Motors (Scarborough plant). He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Phyllis; son, Keith and daughter, Joan. He was the most kind, loving and caring husband and wonderful father and no words can describe the emptiness of our loss. Many thanks to all the Doctors, nurses and staff of Sunnybrook Hospital. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A. W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug Crocker's memory to the Sunnybrook Foundation, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON M4N 3M5, would be appreciated.
