VAN VLIET, Elizabeth Irene (nee Armstrong)Suddenly at North York General Hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife for 60 years of Lorne. Loved mother of Dirck (wife Helen), Kathie (husband Claus) and Bruce (wife Diane). Devoted grandmother of Kimberley, Christopher, Adam, Jeremy and Sara and great-grandmother of Ainsley. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 25. Service at PARKWOODS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Parkwoods Village Drive, Toronto on Friday, September 26 at 11 o'clock.
