Obituary of Irene Chapman

CHAPMAN, Irene (nee Gaudet)With her husband by her side, Irene, mother of William, beloved wife of Peter, died late Wednesday afternoon after an eight month battle with Melanoma, at Sunnybrook Palliative Care on July 2nd, 2008, in her 41st year. Irene is also survived by many loved ones, her mother Mary (Greg) Papinko, her grandmother Rose Pernarowski, mother-in-law Marie Chapman, brothers-in-law Philip (Joann), David, Chris (Corine), Rick (Liza), and sisters-in-law Lynn and Sue (Mike) along with much loved nieces and nephews.Irene was a continuous learner who achieved her lifelong dream of becoming an Early Childhood Educator.Irene's legacy of love, laughter and creativity will be a part of us all.The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 6th. The funeral service will take place in the chapel on Monday, July 7th, 2008 at 11 a.m. with services being conducted by Father Joseph Korchinski from Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
