Obituary of Antonio Barbieri

BARBIERI, ANTONIO (Tony)

Died Monday, November 27, 2017, after 91 years of a life well-lived, and well-loved. Born in Ripabottoni, Italy in 1926, Tony is predeceased by his wife, Filomena Sauro (1925-1962). Tony raised his three children alone. He will live on in the hearts of Mary (and Mark O’Keeffe), Joe (and Dawn), Mike (and Ellen), grandchildren Dean (and Sarah), Daniel, Michelle and Anthony, and great-grandchildren David, Nathan and Ava, as well as in the hearts of the many relatives, friends, neighbours in Toronto, Keswick and West Palm Beach who had the honour to know him.  The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, December 1st from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.  The funeral will take place in the chapel on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Reception to follow.   Donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
